The English language version of this website of the Leo Smit Foundation is still very much a work in progress.
We soon hope to find funds to translate all our research findings on suppressed composers in the Netherlands and share them with an international audience.
For now, concise information on the composer Leo Smit (1900-1944) and on the Leo Smit Foundation can be found here. An overview article on suppressed composers in the Netherlands was published by the Orel Foundation in 2010.
